She was born in California. She was Tennessee Bicycle Racing Association Champion in 1998. She finished 8th that same year at US Elite Nationals. She was a 3 event 1992 Olympic Trials Qualifer in Swimming, 200IM, 200 Breaststroke, and 400 IM. She won the wine country classic in 2000.
