Weekend in Tuscany for the Liquigas Team

The Liquigas Team keeps on his approach march to the “Giro d’Italia” taking part in the two appointments in Tuscany, the “G.P. Industria & Artigianato” of Larciano and the “Giro of Toscana”, where in 2007 Vincenzo Nibali was great. The rider from Messina, who lives near Larciano, is high spirit after the amazing win at the “Giro del Trentino”: «The condition is good, I hope not to disappoint all the supporters who will be waiting for me along the streets in Tuscany that I often face during the training».
In the G.P. of Larciano he comes back into the races after the reconnaissance he made with Franco Pellizotti on the ‘pink route’. They went on the time trial in Plan de Corones and on the Monte Pora climb: «These stages are very difficult, in particular the time trial that has a lot of climb with a steep slant». In the opinion of the ‘dolphin of Bibione’, Franco Pellizotti, who’ll race near Nibali during this week-end in Tuscany, the last stages will be very important, too: «I’ve chosen a training program that allow me to be in the perfect condition during the final stages of the Giro».
Together with two Liquigas captains will take part in the Tuscany races Valerio Agnoli, Kjell Carlström, Francesco Chicchi, Andrea Noè, Alessandro Vanotti and Charles Wegelius. Team manager: Mario Chiesa.
