Team MILRAM announces preselection for Tour de France

Team MILRAM has announced its preselection for the 95th Tour de France (July 5-27).  The management of the German team has submitted its paperwork with the 12 riders' names to the race organizer ASO.  The final nominations to the nine-man Tour de France team will be made the end of June.
The selection list is led by MILRAM captain Erik Zabel, who will celebrate his 38th birthday on July 7, shortly after the start of the Tour.  A total of six German riders are on the „Liste de Preselection“.  Two MILRAM youngsters have been nominated: U23 World Champion Peter Velits of Slovakia and Dutch rider Niki Terpstra.
