Memo

The third stage of Paris-Nice between Le Puy-en-Velay and Pont du Gard was neutralised today by the riders in memory of Cofidis rider Andrei Kivilev, who died this morning as a result of head injuries sustained in a crash during stage 2. The Cofidis team led the peloton for much of the day, and crossed the line in Pont du Gard a little way ahead of the peloton, receiving a big ovation from the crowd as they did so.
