Een lange vlucht met Danny Pate en Jacob Erker mocht van de Saturn-ploeg bijna 130km lang op kop rijden, maar uiteindelijk werden de twee toch ingelopen. Op 20km van het eind ging Matt Decanio, hij kon wel uit de greep van de groep blijven en won met een goeie halve minuut voorsprong. Leider Nathan O'Neill kwam nooit in de problemen en werd eindwinnaar, voor ploegmaats Danielson en Horner.
